If you want to practice as a dental assistant in Saskatchewan, you must have a Registration and a Practice Permit. You can apply if you meet any of the following
Accredited Education
To qualify you must:
- graduate from an accredited* dental assisting program in Canada
- pass the NDAEB Written Exam
Are a Dental Assistant in Another Province?
To qualify you must meet these Labour Mobility requirements:
- be a dental assistant in a Canadian province where dental assisting is regulated (it is not regulated in Ontario and Quebec)
- have current registration/certification/license (practice rights) in good standing
- have full practice rights (not limited in any way)
Non-Accredited Education
To qualify you must:
- graduate from a non-accredited* dental assisting program
- pass the NDAEB Written Exam
- pass the NDAEB Clinical Practice Evaluation
